Android (root)
This article describes the process of setting up time synchronization on an Android device with super user (root) access.
The demonstration is made on the device “Samsung GT-S5830i”
In the lower right corner, click the application icon
Finding a program “Play Store” или “Play маркет”
In the running application at the top of the screen we find “Поиск”
A list with search history opens as well as a virtual keyboard
Write in the search bar “Clock sync”
At the end of the search, a list of found objects in the store will be displayed
Choose the first item
Next, press the button “Install” или “Установить”
We allow the program to access information about the location by pressing a button “Accept” или “Принять”
Next, the process of downloading the installation package and installing it into the system will begin.
After successful installation, buttons will appear “Open” и “UnInstall” или “Открыть” и “Удалить”
We press the button “Открыть”
In the window that appears, press the button “Close” или “Закрыть”
The main screen of the application will appear
It shows the exact time server time and our local clock
Press the settings button, three items will appear
Press “Settings” или “Настройки”
Select the section “NTP Server”
Enter one of our servers
Check the box to enable automatic time synchronization
We check that the checkmark “Режим без root” has not been installed
Put a tick “Sync on boot” or “Синхронизация при включении”
After the settings, we return to the main program window
Press the settings button, three items will appear
Press “Synchronize” or “Синхронизировать”
The time difference has been significantly reduced
As a result, the time is synchronized with the external server automatically, in the future the program will itself adjust the local time.
